General Properties

T7*Tag sequence and BamH I cloning site are located on the N-terminus of the pET-9a-d(+). Many pET family vectors have their origins in these vectors. Figure 2 depicts the unique sites in the circular map. Because the sequence is numbered according to the pBR322 convention, the T7 expression region on the circular map is inverted. The cloning/expression sequence (Figure 3) of the T7 RNA polymerase-transcribed coding strand is represented by the image below.
